Going to Paris

Posted by Andreas Holmstrom on January 10, 2009

After almost a month of illness and/or Christmas holiday, things are now getting back to normal, and tomorrow I’m going to Paris for the Grothendieck conference! I will try to scan and post my notes here when I come back home, in case anyone is interested.

Do you know what “log motives” and their uses may be? Fontaine refered several times to a never published article by him on them, so they may be related to his modules, and Bloch and Kato held a talk on them:

and their use of them for “special values of L-functions and some objects coming from physics”.
